What guarantees me that my children are safe without having the fear of being robbed?
All our nannies are thoroughly investigated , verifying that they have a clean criminal record with no prior offenses. We are constantly checking their perormance by calling in or ease dropping to verify no abnormality is occurring during the nanny´s visit.
If my son became ill unexpectedly ,would the nanny know how to control the situation?
One of the essential requirements that all our nannies must have is the basic first aid course. This partakes in collaborating with the fire department , certifying our staff so they have the knowledge to act in an emergency. If it becomes something more serious they will immediately contact us and we will get in touch with you ASAP to have permission granted to transfer the child to a hospital, all with due care.
Are the nannies well trained to care for children?
Our nannies must have verifiable experience and know about children and activities to be carried with them. When recruiting our team, we go through several screening procedures such as core activities that a nanny would do with them from basic caring methods to emergency drills. These test allow us to hire the best nannies in the Caribbean market. In addition to completing in-depth application reviews, interviews, criminal background checks and driving records, our nannies are required to: have at least 3 professional childcare references, at least 2 years experience in childcare settings, be certified in infant and child CPR, and be a non-smoker.

How many children can a nanny care for at a time?
The maximum number of children a nanny can care for is two children, if they are two years of age or older. In case the children are younger then one nanny per child would be required, this is so we can provide the best care possible to each child.

If I hire your nanny services but cancel at the last minute, would there be a cost for cancellation of the service?
Yes, due to our cancelation policies there would be a charge for the transporation taken by our babysitters to reach their destination. Please refer to our transportation cost on the services page.

Are all your nannies engilsh spoken?
Yes, one of our most important requirements here at Caribbean Nanny Service is that all of our nannies achieve a fluency of 80% or higher in the English language. This ensures our families will be able to communicate with their nanny in the most efficient way.

Are the nannies able to travel in case of an unforeseen trip or emergency that would require us to take her along?
Absolutely, it is just a matter of asking the nanny and making sure she is able to extend her schedule. In case your nanny is not able to continue with the task then we will send another great nanny to your location ASAP!

Can I interview the nanny prior to her arrival?
There is not a formal interview process for temporary nannies. You will have the chance to talk with the nanny ahead of time when they call you directly to confirm the date and time.

How does payment work, do I pay the nanny directly?
Yes, you will pay the nanny directly upon the completion of their assignment, by cash. We have created an option for you to book our services online and pay directly via paypal to avoid dealing with cash.

If our nanny has an accident at the time of her care services, are we liable for her medical cost?
No, Caribbean Nanny Service will cover all medial costs, clearing you of any financial responsibilities.
